Q: Why are my combos outclassed in BOTH stats?
Your combo is likely specialized in something else! A water-based character in a water-based kart is going to be significantly slower on the road.
Q: Why isn't Bowser showing up when optimizing for Road Speed? He's the fastest character.
Bowser has an even distribution of 9 speed across the board. Howevver, specialist characters like Wario and Cow match Bowser on their preferred terrain. By being in a lower weight class, these characters have an extra point of Acceleration and Handling, meaning Bowser is always outclassed when looking at a single type of road. On the other hand, Bowser will ALWAYS show up when optimizing for Average Speed, as no other character can reach quite as high!.
